This is for my keeper football league, but it is a general question for all fantasy leagues (baseball, hockey, etc)
The league I'm currently in for football (outside of razzball) has been doing re-drafts for many many years. However, with a solid base of 16 teams, we've decided to start a keeper league. What is the best way to run a keeper league? The choice of keepers is going to be optional. We want to incorporate salaries (if this works out). The original idea is to increase your keepers salary every year. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, as I believe you should be rewarded for good drafting. I've thought of, "if you draft a player last year in round 3, and you want to keep them, you use your 3rd round draft pick to take them again".
Basically I'm looking for opinions on the best way to run keeper leagues with optional amounts of keepers. Thanks!
