Chase Headley

Postby peter » Thu Jun 26, 2008 5:18 pm

I've got Chase Headley in a 12 team h2h, 5x5 keeper league. I've also got Miguel Cabrera, Braun and Glaus qualifying at 3B.

I could use some pitching help, and John Danks and Jair Jurrgens in exchange for Headley have come up in discussions. Do you all have confidence in Danks and Jair? Are either worth Headley? Maybe both for Headley?

If you can get both, you do that. Even one would be a good move. I'd go Jair then Danks, in that order.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Good advice, thanks G. I think I agree about Jair over Danks, too. I looked at the minor league numbers, and Danks is producing an out-of-character ERA right now. Jair is a little more in line w/ his minor league #s, and looks to be a more reliable source of Ks.

Thanks - I'm pleased with it. It's risk/reward that I'm more than willing to take.
