Potential Problem

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Potential Problem

Postby smulkerrins » Sun Jun 28, 2009 8:11 pm

With the return of Aramis Ramirez likely soon, I am looking for some lineup advice. When Aramis is healthy, do I simply go ahead and bench Mark Reynolds at 3B? Or would you go ahead and start Reynolds at Utility and bench Helton OR Branyan? I hate to see any of these 3 guys sit on my bench. Or, do you think it is smart to trade one of the three? And if so, which one?

Here is my current lineup:

C - Posada
1B - Pujols
2B - Pedroia
SS - Tulo
3B - Reynolds
OF - Hunter
OF - Cruz
OF - Stewart
U - Branyan
U - Helton

DL - Ramirez, Quentin
Bench - K. Blanks

SP - Greinke
SP - E. Jackson
SP - Danks
SP - Nolasco
SP - Dempster
SP - Cueto
SP - Marquis
SP - Correia
SP - Dice-K

RP - Franklin
RP - Aardsma
RP - Soria

M - Tillman
H2H, 1 PPR LEAGUE

6 pts per rush/catch TD, 1 pt per 10 yards rush/receiving, 4 pts per pass TD, 1 pt per 25 yards passing. -0.5 per INT/Fble.

QB - FAVRE
RB - RICE
RB - MORENO
WR - MARSHALL
WR - JENNINGS
WR - NICKS
TE - CELEK
K - FEELY
D - BENGALS
FLEX - BRADSHAW OR V. YOUNG

BENCH -
RB - R. WILLIAMS, A. DIXON, K. HUGGINS, R. JENNINGS, L. BALL
QB - D. GARRARD, V. YOUNG
WR - D. BESS, J. JONES

I'd trade Aramis right before he returns, or Reynolds. Depending on who would fetch more in a trade.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Grey what is your rationale? Do you think Aramis won't be that good down the stretch? Or at least not as good as Reynolds. Do you agree I should try to get an OF (given my lineup)?

You need an outfielder so much more than a corner man. Aramis returns and is not great, then you're not going to get much. Right before he returns would be the safest time.
