In a 10-team roto league I am looking to trade one of my OF and a SP for a better OF. We have a game starts limit of 180 and I already have 71, so I want to trade 1 of my SP. I was thinking of trading for Mclouth and was wondering if you thought Mclouth and Andrew Bailey for Vernon Wells and Matt Garza is a good trade for me.

Here is my team:
C- Ramon Hernandez
1B- Ryan Howard
2B- Robinson Cano
3B- David Wright
SS- J.J. Hardy
2B/SS- Kelly Johnson
1B/3B - Jorge Cantu
OF-Carlos Lee, Shane Victorino, Vernon Wells, Hideki Matsui, Corey Hart
UTIL- Kendry Morales
Bench- Jose Reyes- DL
DL- Aramis Ramirez

SP- Dan Haren, James Shields, Josh Johnson, Adam Wainwright, Jered Weaver, Matt Garza, Aaron Harang
RP- Joakim Soria, Francisco Cordero, LaTroy Hawkins, Mike MacDougal

You can do better than that but you certainly have the right idea

I usually take a look at what teams are hurting the most in a certain category where I have strength, then try to get the guys that have depressed value regardless of position because you can always trade for what you need. So take a look at the two teams that are hurting the most as far as Starting Pitching. What do they have?

I like Markakis a lot more than McLouth personally. Is the structure the same as the other deal where you're going to get a closer as the other player?

Not sure what everyone else thinks but personally I would definitely do a trade like:

Give:

Garza
Wells

Get:

Markakis
good Closer, anything else valuable

He did not like Markakis and Franklin for Wells and Garza, so do you think I should try another pitcher like Johnson (who he really likes), Weaver, or Harang (who I do not think he will want). Btw, his other closers are Mariano, Fuentes, and Qualls. I was also thinking of giving him two SP, like Markakis and Franklin for Wells, Garza, and Harang. My pitching can defiantly take the hit, especially when I know I can find a spot solid start or two off waivers, since it’s a 10-team league with only 25 players per roster.
