12 team standard 5x5 roto league $300 cap, here's my team, start 4 OF, 4 SP and 2 RP. currently in 1st place. add $3 per keeper each year.

C $1 Doumit
1B $10 Howard
2B $10 Cano
3B $55 ARod
SS $7 O Cabrera
OF $4 braun, $19 jd drew, $16 crawford, $4 hamilton
DH $26 Dlee

SP $7 hamels, $10 lackey, $4 maine, $4 o perez
RP $16 nathan, $2 wood

bench - $4 b molina, $4 jeff clement, $4 pedroia, $4 ian stewart, $12 furcal, $4 maybin, $20 maggs, $7 broxton, $4 marmol, $1 padilla

W, K and SB are cats i could gain a lot of points in, can afford to give up RBI (ahead of 2nd place in this cat by 53). i'm afraid crawford is hurting.

1. If I give crawford and doumit for $5 bj upton and $21 sheets, is this fair? Or should i throw in o perez $4 too?

2. What SPs can i expect to get straight up for maggs or dlee? nobody will take jd drew.

thanks!

Volquez or Hudson for Mags sounds about right. As a keeper, Volkie is slightly more valuable since he probably came cheap. DLee deserves Lincecum or something around there, but Zambrano-ish isn't enough.

I have the same problem with Lee. He's not everyone's favorite sexy fantasy player, so he just sits there in your lineup producing for you while you watch him and his boring good production just piss you off. For some reason, I can't get anything for Lee either, probably because the teams in the lead can't afford to trade pitching like that.

It's funny you mention Volquez and Lincecum. The guy I'm talking to has both, and I think, by the way he's talking, he wants a Braun type player for Lincecum. That isn't going to happen. Have 2 more questions:

1. Do you think Volquez can continue? He's never pitched a full season in the majors and he is in CIN.

2. Is this a good deal for me? Crawford and Doumit for Sheets and BJ Upton? Or is this closer to being fair - Crawford, Doumit and O Perez for Sheets and Upton?

Thanks for your help!

i have no chance at lincecum or volquez for maggs. every team overvalues their players.

would harang or bedard do it for maggs? i'm leaning more towards harang. thoughts?
