Oh, SaltyBiscuits -- I am willing to bet you a pound of pastrami that Prince Fielder and Carlos Lee will both have more RBIs after the all-star break than will Cracky McSmokesalot. His numbers will no doubt be very good by season's end, but I'm thinking he maxes out around 125 RBIs -- which means he's got about fifty left in his bat from here to October. Remember, Justin Morneau had 24 HRs and 74 RBIs at the all-star break last year. Afterwards, not so much.
So for some reason, Josh will suddenly stop knocking batters in? You can't undervalue his second half just because his first was so productive. Oh, and CrackPipe does not play on a crappy offensive team like Morneau did. He plays on the TEXAS RANGERS (capitalized in order to emphasize their collective power) who score roughly 134 runs a game (but are a sub .500 team? How does that happen. Oh yeah, when you have crappy pitching and fielding) That being said, their lineup is pretty boss.
I'll take you up on that bet. I love pastrami.
