h2h points rankings.

Postby polio23 » Sun Mar 02, 2014 1:58 pm

I am just wondering how much being a h2h week to week points league changes rankings. For instance my home league does not have avg as a stat and as a result I am not sure how much this affects your rankings. Some guys clearly must drop but I am not sure how much to weigh this in.

Is it 4x4? Is there something replacing average? OBP?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

it is arguably the wackiest scoring out there: batting:
1b (1)
2b (2)
3b(3)
hr(4)
bb(1)
runs(1)
rbi(2)
sb(1)
k(-1)
h(1)
sac(1)
btw (1)

Pitching:
ip (1.5)
er (-2)
w(7)
L (-5)
sv(5)
k (1)
h(-1)
bb (-1.5)
shutout(5)
hit batmen (-1)
QS (8)
ptw(1)

as a result last year miggy was worth 1008, goldschmidt 921 ,trout 912 and Kershaw was worth 557, Scherzer 540.5, Wainwright 471.

Really weird I know.

That makes power guys very valuable and high end starters and relievers... Very pitching heavy... I'd want a top ten arm, if not two...
