I played in my 1st 12 team, HTH weekly, 6x6 league last year. It was fun, I took 3rd thanks mostly to the advice on this site.

6 Bat cat: R, HR, RBI, Net-SB, Ave, OPS
6 pitch cat: Win, Save, Hold, ERA, WHIP, K/9
24 man rosters: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, (3)OF, (2)UT, (3)SP, (3)RP, (2)P, (6)Bench, (2)DL

My question is that I drafted a ton of SP late in the draft and only the top MR were drafted, but by the all-star break almost every team was using 1-2 CL's and 3-4 MR's in the "RP/P" slots and only the minimum 3 SP's in the SP slot.

Why did our 6x6 format favor the MR's with good ratio's and a smattering of holds so much more than the mid/lower tiered SP's? Is it because we used a K/9 ratio instead of just straight up K's?

I was suspecting that the only people using MR's in a weekly HTH league would be the ones who's closers lost jobs and were unsuccessful at trading for a closer.

10 of the top 12 and 32 of the top 50 league specific player rater pitchers were RP's in our league

Thoughts? Would you like this kind of league or would you tweak something to bring the SP value back up a bit or the RP value back down a bit?

You have five categories that can be won by middle relievers and wins could be grabbed too in a good week... Put a higher innings minimum for the week... Make 25 IP required or they lose the pitchi9gn stats for the week...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks grey. It was 10 ip min last year. I will propose 25ip for this year.
