+1 overall

It was rapid fire until Wieters/Mauer threw a wrench into my gears. I wanted to write neither.

Good stuff, OTS. You've devised an ingenious method of simultaneously facilitating offseason fantasy discussion and prompting others to reveal their personal rankings. Bravo!

+1 sounds about right for you. Basically balanced approach.

I do tend to like homers and I don't worry that much about positional scarcity (probably because I play in a relatively shallow league for offense.) The hardest choice was CarGo vs. Prince.

I think that puts you around +2, slightly on the aggressive side but overall balanced.

Definitely took a lot of upside and yet went Beltran. Some have said that one is not even close in favor of Myers. I've seen preseason ranks that have them very close and I've seen them separated by 30 or more picks.

So maybe Myers becomes Beltran next year. Beltran is Beltran right now. I like him hitting in Yankee Stadium next year. Their projections are pretty close anyway, except that Myers will steal a few more bases and strike out more.

The other guys on the list are all closer together in age, maturity and experience. Beltran/Myers is the only comparison that presents an extreme example of veteran vs. youth. As you can tell from my team below, I like to go dumpster diving for veterans with proven track records but advanced ages. If Myers is going that much higher than Beltran in my redraft league, I probably won't end up with him.

Ended up +9. I do believe that's probably too far on the aggressive side. The description works for me though... young players and quick with the hook ! Very hands on with all my teams.

Fun little survey... thanks for posting.
