Results by Draft Slot

Postby VinWins » Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:29 pm

Having the first overall pick proved fortuitous this season, as 10 teams won titles from the #1 slot. Interestingly, for the 2nd straight year, no team drafting 11th won a league title.

I love this kind of data. The distribution is very different this year.

Agreed, this is great data! You didn't want 11th this year, I guess...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Not only did you not want to draft 11th, but you didn't want to draft outside the 1st 4 picks, generally. 1-4 produced 26 winners while 5-12 only produced 22 total. And 10-12 only produced 3 winners (I happened to be one of them...I went 10th).

The first 2 slots were the best place to draft from in 2013.

Crazy that the 11th place finisher still drew the short stick...
