Which RCL records will fall over the last 22 days of the season?

HOME RUNS

The record is 342. Tehol is leading with 303. In the previous 22 days, his team hit 39 home runs, so this record is definitely in reach.

RUNS

The record is 1219. I ♥ To Fart ( Beef SAGNOF! ) leads with 1020, while my Sask Stealers ( You down with PEDs? ) have 1018. In the previous 22 days I ♥ To Fart scored 152 runs; Sask Stealers 167. Looks like this one will not fall.

RBI

The record is 1147. Donkeycorn Apocalypse ( Sultans of Swat ) leads with 1030. They have recorded 140 RBI in the last 22 days, so there is an excellent chance a new RBI record will be set.

STOLEN BASES

The record is 249. Smart Alex Gordon ( Razzball League) leads with 212. In the previous 22 days they had 26 steals, so it seems like this mark is safe.

BATTING AVERAGE

The record is .297. Dusty Two Sacks ( Modesto Nuts ) and Si's Beaver Rebellion ( You down with PEDs? ) are hitting .289. If they matched their at bats from the previous 22 days the rest of the way, Dusty Two Sacks would have to hit .350 to reach .297, while Si's Beaver Rebellion would need to hit at a .405 clip. So, this record will not be broken this season.

---

Pitching records are tougher to predict, because you can't be sure a team will use their full 180 starts allowed. I will show the top 10 with the number of starts they have used (through Friday), though a team with more starts remaining could be outside the top 10 currently and still break a record.

STRIKEOUTS

The record is 1586.

1436 Pink Highlighter ( Razzball4Life ) 167
1404 Schmidt Heads ( Razz Canada ) 176
1373 The Good The Vlad The Utley ( Myrtle's Acres ) 169
1358 Team Amore ( Remember Matt Bush ) 180
1339 Bromelia Famiglia ( Ones are GOOD right? ) 157
1334 Da Wayza Bwade ( Cougars Welcomed ) 174
1322 PublicEnemy #1 ( Ones are GOOD right? ) 155
1310 The Gyorkoffs ( Wake Up! ) 166
1305 Razzball Rudy Gamble ( EXPERTS ) 154
1305 Sweep The Leg ( Matthew Berry's Bold Predictions ) 176

WINS

The record is 115.

103 JJ Waiver Weavers ( Robust Herd ) 181
101 TP for my Buchholz ( You down with PEDs? ) 154
100 Rutledge Of Glory ( Fantasy Champions ) 180
99 centerfield ballhawk ( Mustachioed Commenters ) 171
99 Blue Heaven 3 ( Cougars Welcomed ) 157
98 bubba kush ( The Big Rzepczynski ) 180
98 Lind Sanity ( Ones are GOOD right? ) 157
97 Cali The Naysayers ( MDK Razzball League ) 174
96 The Hippos ( ECFBL ) 177
96 The Cream and the Clear ( It's Raining On Braun Night ) 181
96 Ottoneu Bay Stormtroopers ( RCL on PEDs ) 170
96 Calvin Shiraldi ( Humm Baby ) 180

SAVES

The record is 229. Carolina Bedwetters ( RCL on PEDs ) lead with 179. In the previous 22 days they recorded only 17 saves. The most anyone had was 33, so this record appears unbreakable.

ERA

The record is 2.86. Currently, 3 teams are beating this mark, led by Fightin' Shardana ( Smokey's Harem ) at 2.69, so there is a good chance this record will fall.

WHIP

The record is 1.112. The Good The Vlad The Utley ( Myrtle's Acres ) are leading with a mark of 1.042, while 24 other teams are also bettering the record, so it seems certain to be broken.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Pink Highlighter (Razzball4Life) picked up 1 strikeout Saturday from Steve Cishek, and is now 2 away from tying the record of 1586.

Pedro Alvarez homered for Tehol, but he is still 5 short of the record 342, so it will be tough on the traditionally pitcher-dominated final day of the regular season.

Donkeycorn Apocalypse ( Sultans of Swat ) added just 5 RBI in the last 2 days and need a 16-RBI day to set a new record.

Smart Alex Gordon ( Razzball League) is still 7 shy of the current stolen base record of 249.

TP for my Buchholz ( You down with PEDs? ) has tied the record of 115 wins, and has 7 starters lined up for today - Jose Quintana, Sonny Gray, Tyson Ross, Chris Tillman, Yu Darvish, Jonathon Niese, and Todd Redmond. Unfortunately, the vagaries of the final day have lost him Gio Gonzalez and Matt Cain, who had been scheduled to start.

The pitching ratio categories are set to have new marks, as Pazzball Rodcast (No Guts, No Glory) lowered his ERA even more, to 2.67, while The Good The Vlad The Utley (Myrtle's Acres) has a WHIP of 1.04, which won't change much on the last day.

I can't believe someone has a 2.67 ERA, that's so insane...

I don't know what the big deal is. I had a 2.67 ERA one day. Here are the pitching numbers for Padball Rodcast:

IP: 1440.2
ER: 428
K: 1371
W: 102
Sv: 132
ERA: 2.67
WHIP: 1.09

They drafted 9 pitchers.

52 Craig Kimbrel, Atl RP
76 Max Scherzer, Det SP
100 Dan Haren, Wsh SP
141 Matt Harvey*, NYM SP
189 Bobby Parnell*, NYM RP
196 Jason Grilli, Pit RP
237 Hyun-Jin Ryu, LAD SP
261 Andrew Cashner, SD RP
268 Clay Buchholz, Bos SP

Here are all their pitchers that threw at least 10 innings (28 others added 116 IP with a 3.10 ERA).

Yeah, I went and looked at their team stats... Max Scherzer really dragged them down in ERA!
