LaRoche or Duncan?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

LaRoche or Duncan?

Postby Doc Holliday » Sun Jun 15, 2008 4:26 pm

This is a weekly league.

Laroche is @ CWS, home vs. Toronto
Duncan is home vs. KC, @ BOS
Johnny Ringo: All right, 'lunger'. Let's do it.
Doc Holliday: Say when.

FWIW, I'd say LaRoche, Duncan has struggled all year, went 0 for 5 today. LaRoched homered yesterday and was 1 for 2 today with a single and an RBI. Maybe he's starting to heat up.

Yeah, I bleed Cardinal Red and I'm not a big Duncan fan.

He'll feel the pressure with Albert out.

The joke on Chris Duncan is that he's just accumulating service time so he can get an MLB pension, being the coach's son. It's not so much of a joke anymore. He looked like he could have some good years comparable to Ryan Klesko, now he looks like he is on his way out in St. Louis and competing for a DH job in the AL.

LaRoche tends to be a slow starter anyways, grab him.
