McCutchen/Puig/Soriano for Votto/Hanley/Maholm

Postby mindspin311 » Sat Jun 22, 2013 12:45 pm

I get Votto/Hanley. See team below. My concern is my OF after the trade. I suppose JUpton/Choo/Aoki isnt terrible. And I could always flip someone for another OF if needed.

Gyorko back at 2B soon, then I can move Andrus and profar for something. Thoughts?

id hold if i were you. not that this is a bad deal or anything, i just like your roster composition better as is, than it would be after the trade.

Yea, Im torn. I totally see your side.

I am lacking in HR/RBI/XBH, so Votto and Hanley would help me there. Puig isnt a 100% sure thing, and Im getting the feeling that McCutchen isnt a 30/100 guy like he hinted at last year. And, Hanley is just a more productive SS than Andrus I feel.

Im still mulling it over.

McCutchen for Votto straight up is fair. Looking at your rotation depth though, I think you should take Hanley out of the equation and reach for more than Maholm. But the deal you have on the table looks good if you feel it fits your needs..
