I am ok with that. I am not sure what to expect from Rondon. Have they said where he is going to pitch yet?

Tigers manager Jim Leyland said Tuesday that Bruce Rondon will likely pitch in the sixth and seventh innings initially.
It's not a big surprise, as the Tigers don't want to put too much pressure on the hard-throwing rookie in his first exposure to the big leagues. But it's realistic that he could work his way into the late innings before long and quite possibly get some save chances. Joaquin Benoit is Leyland's preferred option at closer for the time being.

Apparently Valverde is back as well... crazy.

Well, hopefully this means I can drop Benoit. I have too many closers as it is. Haha.

Little too late, looks like...

Valverde has been called up and will apparently be the TIgers' official and sole closer.

I'm sure Valverde's leash will be longer than Ron Jeremy's ding a ling. Leyland loves him some Papa Grande...
