David Price for Greg Holland and Lorenzo Cain

Postby DASmog » Mon Apr 22, 2013 4:37 pm

This trade went through in my 12 team espn mixed roto league. One of the parties of the trade was the commish. As a result of this trade 2 of the more active owners have left the league. The one getting Price claimed Cain's value is boosted because he would be able to be kept for $4 next year.

What are the thoughts on the deal.

It is not a deal that would make me leave a league. I would take Price but I have seen much worse than this.

Tell the losers that left they are babies, pull at their shorts and stop crying. You should use stronger words too. This isn't an awful trade and I could see taking it depending on the size of the league and team needs. David Price is a buy low(er) still. He didn't deserve the Cy Young last year. He wasn't the best pitcher in the American League.
