Better 2013..Jose Fernandez or Tony Cingrani?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Better 2013..Jose Fernandez or Tony Cingrani?

Postby Titan » Thu Apr 18, 2013 5:33 pm

I have Fernandez on team in sig...curious if Tony is the next bigger thing. I'm guessing not this year since he'll go back down when Cueto comes back?

They both are going to have growing pains such is the life of a rookie pitcher. I would take Jose long term though.

Your pitching staff looks stacked. I would rather have Fernandez. He looks more dominant when watching the games. Cingrani looked more effectively wild to me. Obviously Cingrani has more of a chance to win more games, but his spot in the rotation is uncertain once Cueto comes back. If you could pick him up and then trade him, that's what I would do. I wouldn't drop Jose Fernandez for him though.

Thanks for the advice.

It's a 12 team $ league with friends that have played together for awhile.

I thought my team was solid, but I'm 0-2 so far. It's weekly HTH 6x6(Holds/OPS).

My YTD rank () in each stat category below:
R(1)
HR(T-3)
RBI(4)
Net-SB(9) (Needs work - picked up Marte which should help)
AVG(4)
OPS(4)

W(10) (Needs work - but you can't chase them)
S(5)
H(9) (Needs work - Pestano had 2 in the first 3 days then nadda)
ERA(3)
WHIP(2)
K/9(1)
