Hosmer - How Much Patience?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Hosmer - How Much Patience?

Postby Shake N Bacon » Sat Apr 20, 2013 5:58 pm

I have Hosmer in a keeper league. I was hoping he would turn it around this year. I know the Royals have had a few interleague series at National League ball parks so his playing time has been a little wonky this month. Which would probably attribute to his streakiness to date. How long would you hold onto him before cutting bait?

Better rest of season in roto league - Hosmer or Ike Davis?

I still like Hosmer more plus he had been dealing with a nagging injury. I would give him more time or look to deal him if you can find a buyer.

Yeah I'd hate to get rid of him this early. Especially since I kept him this year. I don't think anyone will want to trade for him at the price I want. I might get $0.50 on the dollar for him, which isn't worth it to me. I can get that same value if I drop him and pick up someone on the waiver wire.

I didn't know there was an injury. His quad or something to do with his leg? Maybe I remember that now.

Thanks for replying.
