I need an upgrade at 1b and this is a money/keeper league so i want to play for the future and now. I dont know what to do, help me please!

How many keepers is this? Would you be keeping Berkman? Cause he's no bargain at $45. I love Upton, but to give up Joba and Ellsbury gives me pause. My gut says don't do it.

Unlimited keepers with a 15% annual increase or $6 whichever is greater. We get $15 per player, so the guys are more expensive than a standard $10 per player league. Berkman at $45 is the same as having him at $30 in a $10 per player league. Losing Joba is the most important risk in my opinion as i believe that Justin Upton will be a better keeper than Ellsbury, and he is cheaper than him. I want to keep my core together, but because I could win over $1000 I feel like sacrificing some future wouldnt be bad. And he is giving me $6 if that makes any difference. Does that change anything?

I donno if i like that for you...Joba was the number one prospect coming into this year and ellsbury is faster than speedy gonzales

I don't think you should do it. It's too much for Upton and Berkman has special quality of not producing years after he does produce.
