Should I counter-offer with his Lidge for my Kelly Johnson and Ubaldo? If he rejects my counter, is the original offer good enough to accept?

I like it for you. I think you have the pitching depth and could solidify your RPing. Weeks is a solid option at 2nd, but if a guy like A.Hill is on the FA list, you may want to grab him with the open roster spot (if you make the deal) - just as backup.

crazy to think Werth is on your bench...

i probably wouldn't do it.

while you have the depth to make this trade, closers are easy to pick up throughout the season. Pick up Scott Downs or Santiago Casilla instead and watch them blossom into guys that get 15 saves a piece with SOLID peripherals.

I think this year is Kelly Johnson's bust out party.
I also think highly of Jered Weaver.

Thanks guys!

@ Hebrew Hammer : If I was giving Ubaldo instead of Jered, would you like it better for me?

I like it. But still grabbing those other guys mentioned (casilla, et al) can be done. As far as ubaldo, I rank him similar to weaver. Difference is risk/reward-ubaldo higher upside, weaver steadier and more reliable to do his thing.

I'd want Lidge.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
