Pitching help

Postby EEE256 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 6:12 pm

Ok I know it's early but I have a feeling I am going to need help with WHIP category. I play in a 6x6 daily league mixed league. 10 teams. Pitching categories are W, L, K's, SV's, ERA, WHIP. My pitchers are:

Darvish, Latos, Gallardo, Lester, A. Sanchez, Cobb, Garza (DL), W. Rodriguez

Being that it's a daily league I tend to stream pitchers throughout the week, however I was wondering if anyone had any advice for controlling WHIP category in a daily transaction league and with my SP staff? Such as starting middle relievers, maybe? Or are there any other pitchers/sleepers i should target via waiver wire to off set some of my other guys?

Options:
Milone
Griffin
Petite
Buerhle
Gee
Marcum
Capuano
Other?

Any Input on how to do that would be much appreciated. Love the blog and site also. Thx

WHIP is one of those categories that I tend to ignore. While i don't want guys that walk a lot, there is only so much you can do to control it. I think you should continue your plan of streaming and just try and stay away from guys that tend to walk a lot. Nothing on the WW excites me either.
