AL Only Team

Postby l-askew-l » Tue Mar 19, 2013 8:39 pm

12 Team 5x5 AL-Only Team

For the most part, I'm okay with my hitting, but, I think I have some pretty significant missteps with my pitching, namely Santana and Masterson. Presuming I won't be able to move them, might I be better off just dropping them before they do any damage, and filling with relievers (i.e. S. Delabar, H. Santiago, C. Allen, etc.) until Archer and/Hultzen, sooner or later, give me something.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think I would hang onto them for the time being and see what they do. Both have had good years and both showed flashes last year. While I don't think it will come together, I wouldn't drop them until I saw them pitch.

If you want to grab a starter, I don't see Ventura getting a call-up this year or before Sept.
