AL Pitcher Pairings

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

AL Pitcher Pairings

Postby l-askew-l » Mon Mar 11, 2013 10:03 pm

Grey,

I'm headed into a 12-team AL-only 5x5 $ 260 auction with B. Anderson ($9), M. Moore ($8), and F. Doubront ($4) at SP. Ideally, I would like to pick up 2 more starters without having to spend the $ 30+ on a Price, Sabathia, Weaver, or Dickey. After which, only Lester, Johnson, Sanchez, or Kuroda, Tillman, Cobb, Norris, Iwakuma, Worley, Bauer, Strailly, Lewis, Pineda, and Masterson, and all of your honorable mentions are available from your rankings.

Should I just bite the bullet, and pay for Price ($ 36, I'm guessing), or should I buy into Lester and/or Porcello, or would I be better served with other targets?

Appreciate any feedback!

I think I would skip the top tier SP still and look to get some of those other guys. Price would be the only one I would be interested in so I would pay attention and make sure he doesn't go cheaper than he should but not sure I would want to pay $36 for him.
