My plan was basically:
- Take a couple good starters (preferably the last guys left from my upper tiers), but only if I didn't have to reach too much.
- Wait for the last of the catchers that I'd be happy to start
- Don't take a reliever in the first 10 rounds no matter what
- Try to get well rounded players for the most part, but don't pass on good value if it's there for someone who isn't so well rounded
- Don't reach, but if guys fall id try to get a pitcher every other round or every few rounds after the first 5 or so rounds were hitter heavy.
I got lucky by getting a handful of guys who were at the bottom of each tier for me, that always helps. In a real draft I probably miss out on some of those guys and it doesn't look anywhere near as good.
