So, I won my 12 team H2H league last year (thanks Grey/Razzball!!)..this means I get to keep 6 instead of the normal 5. The stats we're using are R, HR, RBI, SB, K, TB, OBP x IP, W, QS, SV, K, ERA, WHIP. My team is below and I'm just having a tough time picking my keepers because I want to keep basically my entire team (especially my pitching). Any help/suggestions would be great. In case this matters, we're non-snake drafting this year so I'll draft last each round.

Hmm...going straight from Grey's rankings, he would have it: Longo, Castro, Heyward, Bum, Scherzer, JZ. What made you choose Tex and Gallardo over Scherzer and JZ?

I don't like keeping that many pitchers. And really you could sub Gallardo with JZ or Scherzer. They are all pretty similar. Big upside but no guarantee that they reach that upside. I still think Tex has a couple more years of being pretty good and with SP deep, go with the bat.

Of course if you want to look more long-term than ditch Tex and go with one of those other SP.

Cool, thanks...This is the first year (well, technically, second) of my first keeper...so I haven't put a ton of thought into keeper strategies yet

Hmm, I think I'd lean toward keeping another starting pitcher there over Tex. It all depends on your faith in Tex though - Muaddib has some faith and keeps him, I have less faith and toss him back.

I'd probably keep Heyward, Castro, Longoria , Bum-G, Zimm and Scherzer. Even if you don't want to keep three arms I'd rather take a flyer on a young guy like Rizzo than keep Tex for one more year.

From that list, I like the following as keepers. I prefer to lean toward offense, but I could see grabbing the extra pitcher (like Scherzer, Gallardo or JZim) over Tex. Those three pitchers are also close to Latos and I could seeing going in with any of them instead of Latos, but I have a slight preference for Latos.
