Who do I take rd 2? Looking at someone like Edwin, Tulo, Adam Jones, Ellsbury, Cliff Lee, Adrian, Wright

Edwin is probably the guy you should take. But I bet you could get Ike or Freeman in later rounds. Lee will probably be around later. Personally, I'd take Tulo. Makes your MI pretty sick.

Not in what amounts to be the 7th round for the #1 shortstop. He could produce 1st round value.

There is always some injury risk with him, but I'd take Tulo over the other options you mentioned.
