First live draft...some great value.

Postby Iron Tusk » Sat Feb 16, 2013 11:38 am

Just drafted in one of my leagues. 12 team 5x5 yahoo redraft roto league. Very shocked at what I was able to draft. According to Grey's rankings I got 3 top ten picks. At some points I was confused if I should grab what I needed and pass up some players that I was amazed were still available. I grabbed Sandoval in 9th round which was pretty good and also insurance if anything happens to Longoria. Moore and Rizzo were drafted when I was knocked out of draft for 2 rounds. But even then they were drafted in rd 10 and 11. Ryu went at rd 22. Looking to move Rizzo. Not so excited about the 3 Mets I drafted but they were the last 3 rounds so not much else around. May drop Wheeler for a MR. Still early.

You drafted four Mets as opposed to three. d'Arnaud and Wheeler are likely to be useless for several months. I don't expect Wheeler up until the summer. As for d'Arnaud, maybe he comes up before Memorial Day or maybe not.

Your starting lineup looks very nice.
