two competing offers

You wanna trade who for who? Wow, that's awful/great/horrendous/beautiful/really terrible?

two competing offers

Postby Beardawg » Mon Feb 11, 2013 5:03 pm

one team is offering his Zobrist ($8/1yr) and Dickey ($5/1yr) for my Kipnis ($5/2yr) and Rizzo ($5/1yr).

another team is offering his Scherzer ($2/2yr) and Chapman ($5/2yr) for my Kipnis ($5/2yr) and Medlen ($5/1yr).

I'm leaning toward offer 2, especially if I can get team one to do Zobrist for Rizzo. But if I can't, which would you do?

Many thanks

also, team 2 would take Grandy ($6/1yr) and Medlen for Scherzer and Chapman, leaving my Kipnis and Rizzo free for BenZo and Dickey.

No too first two deals. Maybe to the second but not to then turn around and do the other one as well. Chapman and Medlen are pretty even with Chapman having way more upside. I like Kipnis slightly more than Scherzer. Scherzer is just so much of an unknown. Great K's but struggles every where else.

thanks, I went ahead and pulled the trigger twice: Kipnis/Rizzo for BenZo and Dickey, then I also traded Medlen for Scherzer. I'm pretty stoked frankly. Benzo is going to clobber Kipnis in OPS which is the hidden 6th category in my league, and gives me SS eligibility. Kipnis is also such an AVG liability, which freaked me out being on the same team as Grandy. Scherzer is going to be in Cy Young contention, and Dickey won it last year!

I guess you have a lot higher expectations for these guys than I do.
