In a long term keeper league, what 5 would you keep?
I have put in parentheses the draft round penalty. The price to keep gets higher by 3 rounds each year.
I was thinking Pujols, Kemp, Harper, Lawrie, Machado.
I don't have a top SP to keep and pitching is deeeep so i thought i would go after all positional players. A balance of proven production with potential stud younglings. And if the young guys turn it on early, and being able to keep them for years at discounted prices... What do you think? What players would you keep?
Throwing back Allen Craig will be tough, especially with a 26th round price tag..

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I think I would take Craig over Machado as well.
Have you looked into doing a 2-1? Not always easy to pull off but always worth trying. Machado has a lot of love right now so maybe someone would over pay for him and Craig and give you something that will be better this year and long term.

Thanks for the input. I will keep Craig and throw back Machado. My league mates may not know much about Machado and I may be able to snag him at some point in the draft.
