I give up - Hamilton, Fielder, Cespedes
I get - McCutchen, AGon, Minor, Morse, Berkman (& possible Nick Franklin).

I love Cutch, but I'm really not high on Morse or Berkman and feel like I'm giving up way too much.

I think you would be getting the best player in the deal which is usually a good way to go. It really boils down to what you think AGon will be. If he is back to his MVP type year in 2011 then I would rank him at or above Fielder. I also like Morse and Minor but neither are locks.

I think in the end I agree, you shouldn't do the deal. But their is upside on the other side and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that side would actually be the better side by the end of the year.

Maudib... which side are you speaking of that may have more upside?

Also - I could probably switch out Cuddyer for Berkman and add in Franklin at SS.

I'm a big Pirates fan and love Cutch, but I also feel like I'd be giving up a lot of power (Hamilton and Fielder) and a bit of upside of Cespedes.

I think the McCutchen side might have the most upside. If everything went as well as it could:

McCutchen > Hamilton - Might be close but McCutchen wins because of SB and health
AGon > Fielder - Might be more equal but I think AGon has the edge if he can get to his peak
Minor, Morse, Berkamn > Cespedes - This wins because of sure numbers. Cespedes is the better overall talent here but I think Morse will surprise a lot of people.

Again most upside is the McCutchen side but it also has way more risk. Personally I would probably stand pat with Hamitlon and Fielder but like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the season you look back at this deal and see the McCutchen side would have been a landslide in your favor.

Well, I did pull the trigger. I don't think I got hosed... but I did get my favorite player (and the best player in the deal) while increasing my rotation depth (pitching is gold in this league).
Let me know how you think I did - this is my first time running a dynasty league, so advice is well received.

I like the first part - Cutch/Agon for Fielder/Hamilton. Still not sure about the value I got for Cespedes/Britton - Morse/Minor/Smyly/Liriano.

Fielder is a lot over AGon for me.
Cespedes still can get better.
Morse is ok. I like Minor a lot.
Your SP got better with Minor/Smyly.
But you lost some offense imo.
