7$ Ian Desmond for 15$ Matt Cain. Who wins?

Tough one. Cain is easily better but he isn't priced very good. Desmond is a ok SS but nothing to be excited about but priced much better.

Assuming you don't keep too many players, I will take Desmond. If though you keep more players and solid SP will be hard to find, then I might keep Cain though I still lean towards saving the money with Desmond.

Oops, I got the money all wrong, its 7$ Desmond, and 15$ Cain. (original post updated) Its unlimited keepers, and top pitchers like verlander and kershaw are in the low 30s, sabathia, lee, hamels are in the 20s. Im leaning towards Cain, but the Stream-o-nater gave me so much success last year with 1-5$ pitchers im tempted to try to get by without an ace

As tempting as it is, I would take Cain for $15. It is still really cheap and it is always nice to have one very reliable guy.
