We are keeping 5 players this year. We kept 3 players last year. How would the draft work if you are keeping a player that was kept the year previous too? A team drafted Ellsbury in the 11th round in 2011, kept him in 2012 at 11th round penalty, what would be the penalty this year if that manger decided to keep him again? His other keepers last year were Bautista in the 2nd, and Berkman in the 26th.
What does everyone else do? We don't want limits on the number of seasons you can keep a player..

most leagues I see add three rounds to a pick each year. so ellsbury would be round 8 this year then round 5 next year. this gives a player value for a while but doesn't make them great values for am extended period of time.

we go 2 rounds. we also dont allow players selected in the first 5 rounds to be kept, umless said pkayer was kept prior. ie if drafted rd 7, kept and now avail in rd 5 he can still be kept.
