What would you offer to get Stanton for three years ($17/yr) + Ubaldo for one year at 8 bucks? Obviously, Ubaldo makes it more like 25 bucks for Stanton in year one and 17 for the next two.

I have some cheaper options. These guys could be kept at these salaries +$3 for a one-year deal, +$6 for two years, or +$8 for three years.

Hill ($4)
Kipnis ($0)
CSantana ($13)
Dickey ($3)
Medlen ($6)
Sale ($1)
Hosmer ($0)
Rizzo (will be zero dollars this year and keepable after)

See any combos of guys that would make sense? Maybe one of the pitchers and one of the hitters? We keep 8 total. I'd drop Ubaldo, so he wouldn't be one of my keepers but would cost me 8 auction dollars out of the 260.

I like the idea of Sale and Santana, would also do Sale and Kipnis... Sale's a pretty big red flag for 2013...

Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Sale does make me nervous.

On the other hand, I wonder if I should just go ahead and offer his choice of one of the pitchers and one of the hitters. Any guys I should take off the list in that case? What would be the worst case scenario for me? He takes Dickey and Kipnis?

It would suck to lose the 8 bucks eating Ubaldo's contract, but I wouldn't mind having JUpton, Stanton and Harper in my OF for the next couple of years.

I'd take Rizzo and Hosmer off the table, unless he wants just a hitter... Hosmer or Rizzo AND Dickey, for instance, is too much...

Why doesn't the guy just do what you're idea is (cutting Uabldo and keeping Stanton)?
