Trade Gortat for Harden?

Postby sickwidit336 » Tue Nov 06, 2012 5:54 pm

12 man league. No doubt he is my best center, but I don't really have any great scoring options. I have Seraphin, Sanders, Asik, Ryan Andersen, Love, and Robin Lopez as other big men. With Knight and I. Thomas at pg who are inconsistent while Dragic as my solid pg and only Batum at sg, I figure it would pan out? Will I still survive in blocks? (I have Josh Smith as well) Or should I just wait for Love to come back first?

No one who owns Harden and has even the faintest clue about basketball is going to trade him for Gortat at this point. Nice if you can get it done, but don't hold your breath. It wasn't even likely before the season started, now it's just silly.

I was thinking that as well, but the guy has 0 centers, he drafted all guards/forwards, besides Amare. Gortat packaged with some avg. player might entice him.

Who else is on his team that you can target? No one is going to trade away their best or second best player.
I like sports with balls in them.

Autodrafters would. Or guys who picked in the top 3 and would rather have 2 players. I was able to trade for Lebron because the manager picking #1 didn't like him but thought it would be dumb not to take him. My team was autopicked rounds 1-6 (I showed up late) so I had no problem losing a couple of those guys (I did Kobe + Tim Duncan).

But yeah nobody that drafted Harden is giving him away for less than first value, probably high first.

Kobe and Tim Duncan for LeBron and Seraphin.

I like the deal for me, but it's fair. In my leagues it's pretty rare anyone gets over big time on trades.
