Teams hit an average of 17 more home runs in 2012, but the single season record of 342 stood. Stolen base numbers were quite similar for both years.

342 is gonna be tough to beat even if you're only trying to beat it... Remind me next February that I might make a side wager prize if anyone can beat the top all-time marks in certain categories...
