Trout thing is misleading b/c those people didn't hold him, right? Also, it just seems like everyone gives you an average finish, more about what else you have on your team, I guess...

The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yeah, 15 teams that had Trout for at least 100 ABs finished first.

Yeah, the average finish data might not be very illuminating, sorry to have suggested it. Maybe someone can do something interesting with it, but it looks like a bunch of noise to me.
Though I do find it interesting that although Cespedes and Torii Hunter's ADP were very close, teams that drafted the former did much better on average than teams that drafted the latter. My guess is that if you look at teams that drafted Hunter, they'd have less upside picks than teams that drafted Cespedes. Or it could just be that whenever Cespedes landed on the DL, they were able to get good stats off the wire.
Also interesting that Beltran was a net negative for teams that drafted him.

Yeah, I think the Beltran and Torii Hunter picks are one in the same and probably what you said... The kind of person drafting them may also take other players that are past their prime... Total conjecture there with nothing to back it up...

Many of the other "past their prime" dudes seem to have had the same effect... Ichiro, Carlos Lee, Soriano (even though he had a great year)... Berkman and Crawford maybe support this, but that is more because of injuries.
Weird how drafting Ben Revere was apparently the death knell for many teams...though I don't think anyone will beat Garrett Jones - the average finish for teams that drafted him was 11.5 (though only two teams drafted him).

Garrett Jones is the weirdest of all...Because I'm sure I said in the preseason, only draft him if you're willing to move him in and out of your lineup against lefties... So if you drafted him you had to think you needed to make a lot of moves...But something tells me whoever drafted him didn't do anything...

Just putting Jones in your lineup and forgetting about him wouldn't have been too bad, 11th round value from a 24th round pick.

No, it would've ended up being fine, but I can't imagine the people who drafted him had that intention...
