my final question on the final game of the championship

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

my final question on the final game of the championship

Postby anchovies » Tue Oct 02, 2012 8:53 pm

i know what yer did this bonehead get to the championship. well...thank you, and some bad luck turning around late...squeezing by owners who hammered me all season. some serious studs had serious collapses. i owe it all to Razzball™!

anyway i was never good at baseball mathematics...or math, period. my question or situation:
this is how 3 of the 5 pitching categories stand.
k: 76/68 era: 2.54/3.49 whip: .94/1.25

the other categories are either locked up or insignificant at this point.

my opponent has Cliff Lee starting, i have AJ Burnett.

would it be stupid to sit Burnett--i don't need a win or even a QS at this point...just to keep a lead in those 3 categories. i need Burnett not to get lit up. there are 2 hitting cats (out of 5) that i have locked up. the other 3 could swing either way, really. i feel the k's are too close to sit someone like Burnett right now. Especially against Lee. i dont need a win, like i said...just him not to get lit up and get a few k's.

my instinct is the obvious...start apple juice (?) this game will be rolling before i get outta bed tomorrow (day off).

thanks again for your tips all season.

I'd start him and pray...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
