Give me a little help here. See the scoring for SPs in my ESPN league below. My finals match up ends tomorrow. I am currently up 761-721. My opponent has used all his starts, I have 5 left. I have some really good starts left, but I don't want one of my normally really good SPs to throw a stinker and get my opponent back in the race. Here is who I have left that I could start. Do I sit Gio tonight and just see how things shake out for the last day tomorrow or start him and depend on my other 4 guys if he blows it? How do you play this out? 40 sounds like a big lead with 2 days left, but consider one of my SPs (who I did sit thank goodness) Buchholz scored a -22 last night with these scoring settings, so anything can happen!

Tues - Gio vs Phi (Rosenberg)
Wed - Kershaw vs SF (Vogelsong), T Wood vs Hou (Gonzalez), H Bailey vs Stl (Wainwright), Morrow vs Min (Diamond)

Well the Nationals just made part of my decision for me, they are sitting Gio tonight. With that said, what would be you thinking heading into tomorrow with the guys I have left?

I'd sit Morrow, Bailey and Wood if you're comfortably in the lead... If you need the starts, I'd start them Morrow, Wood, Bailey... In that order... I'd try not to start any of them though... Doesn't seem like you have any reason to...

Well since my opponent has no starts left, its just my hitters and RPs against his! Yesterday my guys actually extended my lead from 40 points up to 49 going into today, the last day. I think that means I am most certainly going to sit all my SPs, sit back, and enjoy my 2nd championship of the year!
