In a Tough Spot

Postby kevo252 » Thu Sep 13, 2012 1:27 pm

I was banking on Mathews playing this week. He didn't practice yesterday. My backup running backs are less than ideal with only M. Bush, Mendenhall (also likely out) and McCluster.

My question is, if Mathews fails to practice again today, do I start bush tonight? Or do I roll the dice with McCluster as my only backup come Sunday if Mathews can't go. It is a PPR league, so McCluster might not be that bad an option if Matt Cassel targets him as much as last week.

The waiver wire has been picked pretty thin with really only Moreno and Hunter being desperation options. Thoughts? Advice? Thanks.

McCluster isn't a bad fallback in a PPR. Just hold until Sunday.
