Don't like seeming to continually rain on parades, and given that headsup has been such a strong indicator that performance at petco earns a sit.

Not raining on any parades. Just gauging which factors should be weighed most since so many go into choosing the right streamer. Kind of like choosing a diamond, huh?

Anyways, sat McDonald all around today. Looking good so far!

Fred (or Eddy or Maximus):

I need a few solid Mr. B's but in my league they have to have SP/RP eligibility. I was rolling with Furbush but he's gone long term and I can't find the list of Mr. B's you did previously. Maybe it can be tacked onto the top spot of this thread after all the streaming info?

Anythehoo, thinking of dropping Leake cause of some shady matchups and running MR's in that slot. Got some names?

I've been pretty conservative since the DeVries fiasco only rolling out McAllister. Basically every shitty team seemed to be on the road in NY, Bos, Tex or Coors. I am getting off my couch for Harrell and I think you should have another peek at Maholm.

Park- Wrigley is 18th so YELLOW light

My Pitcher
-2 ER's in last 20 IP so ERA in the 1's. Amazing! GREEN
-3.02 ERA/1.04 WHIP at home- GREEN
- no heads up
-4.23 Siera and 26.9% O-Swing over 30 days- ORANGE (you'd quit here)

Opponent
-19th against lefties
-26th on the road

We've got a hot pitcher who may be beating the percentages playing a soft opponent in a mediocre ballpark. I'm going....STREAM!

not going agent orange myself. wind in at wrigley right now improves your chances. pulling for a good outing! (will post those MRs at top).

Added Harrell for tomorrow. Now I gotta go back and read all this rocket science.
12 Team / Yahoo! / Roto / Redraft / 1 DL Slot
Hitting: R / H / 2B / 3B / HR / RBI / SB / BB / AVG
Pitching: GS / W / L / SV / K / ERA / WHIP / RAPP / QS

Roster TBD

I know I'm the one who brought him up, but I think I'm going to take a backseat on Maholm. Marlins torched LHP Travis Wood. In addition, many key players have had success against him. Hanley 6 for 17, Buck 3 for 3, Reyes 8 for 25, and then a few 2 for 4s.

I feel my role is becoming the advanced scout, looking ahead 3-4 days to give you all a good jump on a streamer :P

That said, Christian Friedrich is an almost must-stream on Sunday, 7/22.

Opponent: @SD (we've been abusing these guys so much)

Home OPS: 29th
OPS v LHP: 29th
Wind blowing straight toward RF foul line at 8 mph (to be clear, not RF, but toward the foul line [not foul pole!])

Pitcher:
First, we have to understand the poor kid pitches in COL, where he has an 8+ ERA. Once we get past that:
29.4 O-swing%
3.79 ERA in road games (3.56 FIP) and a 3.85 SIERA for the both home and away.
Headsup: Two games v. SD this year (11 IP, 1.64 ERA, 1 BB, 1 HR, 12 Ks)
He's very homer prone (1.3 HR/9), but I think that gets eliminated in PetCo and a lot of that was in Coors Field.

This could be a nice grab in H2H leagues since it lands on a Sunday, giving you the extra push to win.

When I looked up Maholm on ESPN it tells me he's the probable tomorrow @STL, but the preview for CHC vs MIA today lists him as well...WTF

rotoinfo and MLB has him the starter. Don't think I recommended him, but wind IN at Wrigley at 13 mph.
