Holy C.A.R.P: You have taken 90% out of the grind of it all! You earned that moniker!

RE: Marquis, that 0-Swing% would kick him out for me. 'Borderline' translates to 'Possible Blowout'. We'll get enough ops without him.

RE: 0-Swing%. Here is link to a report page on Fangraphs. Note: Export in upper right. If you just go straight to Fangraphs>Leaders>scroll down to Custom Leaderboards>select data for the report>create table>highlight the field in the report you want to set the order for.

http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?p ... 0&sort=2,d

I think we have found my replacement. Let's check a few more of what your report yields, against my hand done. Then you are good to publish!

What do you get for Parker? He is 83% owned, not really a streamer. He has a #9 at home that might kick him out, but I would leave him in based on the #22vs. righties. I make the overlay in large part due to his headsup, 0 ER in 6 IP earlier @min this year.

Yeah, borderline to me means "pass."

Parker doesn't show up as a "CHECK" only because MIN is 17th ranked OPS, but they're 22nd vs RHP. Perhaps I should change the "CHECK" to 15th and worse...

I already own Parker, so I don't have to pick him up, but I would stream him if he was available and I didn't already have him.

Oh, and thanks for the tip on the Fangraphs export... that's fantastic.

Would you start Lynn @ Cin tomorrow?

And is Buehrle worth a shot tomorrow and would you drop Cishek for him?

Thanks!

Lynn gave up 17 ER in his last four starts. I wouldn't start ANY pitcher @CIN.

Buehrle: WAS ranks #5 away, #13 vs. left. Quite a strong opponent. He did hold MIL to 0 ER @MIL in his last (a strong opponent).
Crayon Canyon is a pitcher's park. Buehrle @Home, 2.77 era. He's had 3 great starts. I can see running him. I try to stick to my formula, so those WAS ranks would keep him a sit for me. Heck, if the wind isn't blowing out at 20 mph, I would take a chance--but I wouldn't recommend him to someone else.

Dropping Cishek for him is another story. As valuable as CL are in our league--NO WAY.

I wouldn't start Lynn just based on his last 5 starts (torched in 3 of them).

Buehrle is a decent start. 5 QS in last 6 starts (only non-QS is @BOS), WAS is 15th in OPS and 13th vs LHP (not great, not bad), plus he's been K'ing people and has a 33.3% O-swing. Drop Cisheck if you're not desperate for saves.

Heh... was writing while you were posting, Fred. Certainly seems like we're on the same page.

First off, Fred, let me thank you for that fantastic post on the site. I've been reading Razzball since late 2009 and that's the first post I bookmark. Excellent work.

Awesomus, I know your doc is still in "beta" mode, but if you could somehow make it public for Razzers to read, I would love to be first in line. For when that day comes, eddy5791@yahoo.com.

I'll definitely be checking this thread everyday. Again, excellent work, fellas.
