Teixeira needs a warning label: not only will he probably not help you for the first 4 weeks of the season, but he's also going to murder your batting average as well.
What a CHUMP.
(obviously you don't do anything rash but it's an awfully tough pill to swallow seeing guys like Wells, Alex Gonzalez, Guillen etc lighting up the homers and your first pick is batting sub .100)

Has it become trend enough that when you draft Tex you just bench your 1st round pick for at least the first 3 weeks?
