Useless, I wish he would lose his job already so I could pick a random up each day. Is he alive as the Stl closer? Scary when he is.

I liked the idea BigFatHippo had to make Wainwright the closer. But that's just talk.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is. Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I've been making moves for closers in the league I have Franklin. At first he was pitching relatively well and it seemed like talks of him giving up the 9th were speculation, but the way he's pitching lately I wouldn't be surprised. I think the only thing keeping him in there is the lack of an alternative. Perez was looking bad when I was watching last although I havent kept tabs on him lately, Izzy is still a mess. How is this team still in contention? Hippo? Are they just winning enough games by 5 or 6 that they don't need to close? My closers have seriously derailed my season. I'm still sitting on Putz but at least he's pitching again. For now.
I'm just glad I traded George P for Street and snagged Hanrahan before they even announced he was going to be the closer. Surprisingly enough one way or another I should be ok once the dust settles.

I don't think the Cards will be in contention by mid-August.
