Does anyone think Andruw Jones is worth a roster spot at this point? 12-team, 6x6 league with holds and OBP. Unfortunately I have Matsui DH'ing but I'd have to think one or both of them will get OF eligibility soon.

Wondering whether others think it's worth speculating on Andruw or using the roster spot to accumulate holds and improve pitching ratios.

Easier to respond if we knew who you'd have to drop but I still don't think he is mixed league worthy due to sporadic playing time.

If he's hitting, I don't think playing time will be an issue. The CWS lineup isn't exactly tearing it up and you've got to think the Ozzie-Kotsay love affair has to end soon. Whether Andruw will keep hitting or not is, of course, a completely different question, but it's worth a shot to find out, I think.

In daily leagues with decent sized benches where lineups are easily adjusted based on who's starting, I think Andruw makes a fine speculative add.

I'd have to see the rest of your roster to see who is being cut in order to justify an Andruw pickup.
