I'm trying to decide on some pickups and need another opinion.

Offensive starters I used most days during the first week are bolded. Its a bit of a carousel for those two utility spots, and I hate having to pick between two Marlins OF. I lost in a tight match last week. Didn't get enough saves (which I was anticipating), only got 2 wins from the staff, and lost a few squeakers on the offensive side.

1) I've got a couple of decisions I've been mulling over. The time-share with Ianetta has me concerned, so I picked up Clement as a warm body. Snyder is available, should I pick him up and dump Clement or Ianetta?

2) I'm wondering if I should drop one of my OF for a better option on waivers, maybe a MI to help on off-days. Right now Hardy, Uribe, DeRosa, Izturis... and quite a few more in that vein are available. Should I make a move for one of them and if so, who do I drop?

3) Other option might be to drop an OF for a pitcher. Right now the best of the FA are Dice-K, Lyon, Penny, Pavano, Rodney, Guerrier, Millwood, Volstad, Cook, Padilla. Maybe drop Downs for Millwood just to get more value out of that spot?

Any other suggestions?

I dropped Clement and picked up Snyder. Dropped Downs and grabbed Penny.

What do you mean with the Ortiz comment?

The reason I threw a MI option out there is because I don't have that much flexibility for off-days and a multi-position eligible MI might be able to pick up a decent amount of ABs over the course of the year. Right now I'm using a combination of Maybin, Coghlan, Ludwick, Davis to fill the other Utility spot and so far they've been more miss than hit. FA is pretty thin as far as sluggers go... notable names are: Willingham, Branyan, Cust, Encarnacion, Glaus, Kouzmanoff, Cameron, J.D. Drew, Hafner, Corey Hart, Fox, Bradley... think I should make any other moves?

Willingham and Bradley are both better than Ortiz.
