Why do you have next to no closers? I'd own Frasor over Porcello and Rauch over Wells.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Well, Im in a H2H weekly matchup points based league. It seems like the starters are always valued higher than the closers, or projected to earn more points, but I'm fairly new to this. Here is our league settings for point scoring from pitchers:

Innings Pitched (IP) 3 Earned Runs (ER) -3
Wins (W) 10 Losses (L) -5
Saves (SV) 5 Strikeouts (K) 1
Hits Allowed (H) -1 Walks Issued (BB) -1
Shutouts (SO) 5 Complete Games (CG) 3
No Hitters (NH) 10 Perfect Games (PG) 25

So the innings and wins are definitely a big point scorer. Usually closers get you 5-8 points at the most for a save and Ks, and maybe 2-3 times a week. Starters can get 25 points on a decent day and 40+ on a good day. I do think a better closer might help though. Wells is projected pretty low for 2010 points. I'm probably seeing him with rose (or blue) colored glasses since i'm a Cub fan. With these stats, do you still think I should have more closers?

agree on dropping porcello and wells. no value there.
personally i'd grab morales for some short term saves. secodly i would probably grab marcum for the two start week. realize you might drop both these guys before the end of the 2nd week. thats how fantasy rolls.

So a starter gets you 25 pts one time in a week. A closer could or can get you about 10 pts two or three times a week. It's ten teams so drop those two guys pick up the closers and stream starting pitchers all week or as needed from the waiver wire.
