I drafted my big 12 TEAM standard 5x5 roto $$$ league last night. I wanna post my team and get some thoughts on it. See if you guys see any weeknesses that I need to address.

C - Montero (I'd be punting for Clement all year, but in round 15 I couldn't resist).

SS - Reyes (last pick of the 4th - huge value IMO)

OF - J.Bruce (9th over Pence and Quentin...may regret that one, but I really like him this yr)

UTIL - C.Davis (18th)

B - Gordon (21st), Stubbs (22nd), LaPorta (28)

SP - F-Her (3rd)

SP - Hamels (8th)

I'm a tad worried about AVG with Dunn, Bruce, Davis and Grandy. But I'm hoping that Pujols and B.Butler can counteract that. Little shy on speed if Stubbs doesn't run wild and/or Reyes doesn't return to form.

Also a little worried about my SPing. A lot of young guys and a lot of AL pitchers. Really glad I got F-Her instead of the typical aces I was targetting (Lester...)

I'm currently trying to trade my closer depth (6!) to get some MI depth.

Sorry this isn't that profound, but I agree with what you said. AVG could be an issue and the back end of your starters. Overall, I do think your team is solid. I wouldn't be too worried right now about either issue.

I'm thinking of trying to move Dunn. Can I move him and still have enough power if I ended up getting a BJ Upton, or H.Pence?

I'd take Pence.

I've offered Dunn, P.Hughes, M.Gonzalez & C.Perez for C.Lee, D.Price & S.Sizemore to help eliminate my weaknesses. What do you think? Would give me an open roster spot to grab D.Bard, J.Clement or someone like that.

The other offer I'm looking at is Dunn, M.Gonzalez, Perez & P.Hughes for BJ Upton & B.Anderson - again, giving me a couple of free roster spots.

Both would do the trick? prefer one over the other?

you're probably right. Every year I make early season deals and regret it.
