Right or wrong, I deliberately ignore Saves to have as many SPs as possible. We only allow 2 player acquisitions per week.

Here are Top 10 available position players.
Nolan Reimold
Carlos Beltrán
Chris Young
Alex Gordon
David DeJesús
Gerardo Parra
Jhonny Peralta
Michael Brantley
Randy Winn
Cristian Guzmán

Here are Top 11 available pitchers

Stand pat? Thank you in advance. Love your column -- read with coffee every morning.

If you're punting Saves, you should at least try and lock down Holds. I'd grab one more guy. Lose Matusz for Downs. Hairston's okay in theory, but you're never going to play him and when you do what are you going get? I'd lose him for Brantley for now for some cheap speed.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

That's good advice, thank you Grey.

I may get Motte (your #7 MR choice) or Okajima instead of Downs -- but your point is well taken about locking down holds. Being a Tribe fan (as if you couldn't tell) I'll get Brantley too. You are right about him.

I'll just wait and do this (tomorrow?) when Webb and Kinsler go on the DL. (We have two DL slots in our league.)

Just one more thing. If at all possible, I try to get players in the east or central divisions. For example, when Justin Upton starts I am usually passed out -- so how am I supposed to bench him when he is not starting. Hairston is better (for me) as my 7:00 super sub this year because he is multi-eligible and is out west. I never lose our plate appearances and therefore usually have a fighting chance at the rest of the offense categories.

Off to have some margaritas for my birthday! If you like margaritas, I'll send you my famous recipe. People go nuts for them -- especially my wife!

Happy Friday,
Eric

I've still got Sean Rodriguez, Grey. Krispie Young and Quentin are both available.

Stat Categories: R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, PA

Which of the three would you keep?

Thanks in advance,
Eric
