Gents, would like some honest feedback on this club. I think it will be competitive, power stats will be good. Lacking a little speed, and the ERA/WHIP could be ugly. Any suggestions on how to tweak this team? Who is your first drop? Who target in a trade/waiver wire? Thanks in advance!

You're lacking a lot of speed, but I do agree your power will be fine. I'd prefer a hitting team like that, so it's all good for me. Just know you'll need to prowl for some speed during the season. Your pitching is slightly weak on WHIP, but it looks fine on Ks. ERA's fluky, but it could be an issue.

Very good team. Love the bats and you've got quality arms in there, too. If you're looking for some input, here's what I see:

Konerko had a shockingly productive year in 2009. There's really not a lot of upside there, and plenty of injury-risk/regression to go around. I'm not sure you can really get anything for him, but you might be able to stuff him in a multi-player deal since your league uses Corner Infield.

I am a big fan of trading Closers. I think drafting them with the intention of trading them isn't a bad strategy in general. I do think that you need a quality Starter pretty bad; but with that type of pitcher your team would be downright disgusting. Since you have so many Closers, I'd look to trade them for Starters.

The home run deal I'm really thinking of here is something like Soria for Nolasco. Ricky Nolasco has better peripherals (K/9 combined with K/BB and BB/9) than anyone other than dudes like Lincecum and Halladay. You might be able to get him for Soria straight up.

Regardless, I would look to deal Soria because he commands the most value. I wouldn't touch your bats, other than Konerko unless you absolutely have to.

Beane, good stuff. Nolasco went two picks before me in the 8th round, and I was very sad about that. Not sure the guy who drafted him knows what he's got. Grey, you are my new idol. Thanks again both of you.
