Long time poster on the site, first time poster to the forums... I'm not sure how you do all this Grey, and now that I see the vastness that is your empire, I REALLY hope this thing generates a living for you...

Anyway, last weekend I had my 2nd money draft and am a bit disappointed with my team (offense especially). It's a 12 team keeper (keep 5 - no keeper restrictions). It's standard 6x6 (+OPS, +Holds). I hate the holds part, but it is what it is.

Here's my team a la the draft:

1. (10) Matt Kemp (K)
2. (22) Tim Lincecum (K)
3. (34) Adrián González (K)
4. (46) José Reyes (K)
5. (58) B.J. Upton (K)
6. (70) Nelson Cruz
7. (82) Cole Hamels
8. (94) Ricky Nolasco
9. (106) Ian Stewart
10. (118) Michael Young
11. (130) Ryan Franklin
12. (142) Ryan Madson
13. (154) Mike González
14. (166) Octavio Dotel
15. (178) Jonathan Sánchez
16. (190) Roy Oswalt
17. (202) Takashi Saito
18. (214) Nyjer Morgan
19. (226) Everth Cabrera
20. (238) Aroldis Chapman
21. (250) Brandon Lyon
22. (262) Clay Buchholz
23. (270) Chris Iannetta

I've since dropped Iannetta for Clement and here's my team w/ lineup:

C - Jeff Clement
1B - Adrián González
2B - Ian Stewart
3B - Michael Young
SS - José Reyes
OF - Matt Kemp
OF - B.J. Upton
OF - Nelson Cruz
UT - Nyjer Morgan
BN - Everth Cabrera

SP - Tim Lincecum
SP - Cole Hamels
SP - Ricky Nolasco
RP - Ryan Franklin
RP - Ryan Madson
RP - Mike González
P - Octavio Dotel
P - Takashi Saito
P - Brandon Lyon
BN - Jonathan Sánchez
BN - Roy Oswalt
BN - Aroldis Chapman
BN - Clay Buchholz

I'm clearly Speed heavy, and am hoping that Morgan starts hot and I can swap him for a power guy. That or use a pitcher to do the same thing. As always - thanks for the input!

Hey, Dude, good to see you. Your speed is not only way too heavy it's costing you power. You can't compete in a regular league with this hitting and you have OPS here, so it's especially troubling. I'd look to see if any of your outfield speed guys start hot at trading them, including Upton. Your pitching is also very strong, probabbly too strong. If you can't move Upton for someone like Dunn, I'd look at moving a SP. I think you have work to do.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yep, I knew it coming out of the draft and about half way through. I really should have held off on EverCab (or even Morgan) in favor of Chris Davis, who was picked 1 pick after EverCab.

Looking back in the draft, I do feel I was getting the best available w/ Hamels and Nolasco, but by doing that I short-changed myself on offense. I could have had C. Pena or Adam Jones at the Hamels slot, and could have had CQ at the Nolasco slot.

I scrambled and grabbed Young for my 3B, which I view as a decent move considering I got him in the 10th, but it was not a planned event.

Moving Upton shouldn't be tough, unless he starts cold, and I'm sure I can move Nolasco if he does well since there's several Nolasco fanboy's in my league.

The other thing that's good is my first H2H matchup is against a guy w/ a weaker offense than mine and arguably a stronger staff, so I'm thinking I'll be good for the first week of the season and start dropping offers after that.

Thanks again!
