Had my last draft of the year on Sunday for a 12-team H2H league, 5x5 plus OPS and CGs, and followed Razzball's H2H strategy to the letter. Felt like I needed to post this lineup, because this is insane! I think I'm gonna carve through this league like a hot knife through butter.

Without further ado, your 2010 Deep 13 Hamdingers:

C Miguel Montero
1B Joey Votto
2B Brandon Phillips
3B David Wright
SS Alexei Ramírez
OF Matt Kemp
OF Curtis Granderson
OF Hunter Pence
Util Justin Morneau

SP Cole Hamels
SP Ricky Nolasco
RP Carlos Mármol
RP David Aardsma
P Octavio Dotel
P Chris Pérez
P Kevin Slowey
BN Francisco Liriano
BN Jonathan Sánchez
BN Tim Hudson
BN Johnny Cueto
BN Justin Masterson
BN Ian Kennedy

One manager is a huge Giants fan and was making Fanny Pick after Fanny Pick (which also meant I was lucky to sneak away with Filthy Sanchez), but other than that I don't know what happened; maybe the rest of the league fell asleep? (Also, what's the sense in having a 6-deep bench if you're not going to take a flyer on every sleeper P known to man? Bench bats? Pfft.)

I find most times when people are like, "This is the best team ever," it's usually not a good team. This team you've drafted really is a good team. Looks like a ten team league it's so solid, I wonder if your leaguemates know what they're doing. Either way, I hope it's for money.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Can you post the rounds that you drafted each player in? I am curious as to how you ended up with all these guys

Thanks Grey! You indirectly helped create this monster, after all.

It's not a money league, although this is the "tenured" league I play in (it's been around for 7 years, although I've only been in it for three), so winning it will carry attendant bragging rights.

I know at least half the players in the league know what they're doing (one of them won every league I was in with him last year); I think for the most part I was simply zigging when they were zagging, what with Grey's advice to wait on Ps in H2H, pitcher and player pairings, etc. Also I think having the 7th pick helped, as I didn't have to judge where guys would be two rounds in advance.

I wish I could just link the draft results, but it's a private league on Yahoo!, and reposting the whole draft would be ridiculous, so I'll just comply with the request for my draft order:

Deep 13 Hamdingers - 7th overall pick

1. (7) Matt Kemp
2. (18) David Wright < Slight slippage, but not too much.
3. (31) Joey Votto
4. (42) Brandon Phillips
5. (55) Justin Morneau < A little more slippage. Not sexy enough, probably.
6. (66) Curtis Granderson (!) < This is the one that stands out to me. No idea why Grandy was still here, especially with a Yankees fan in the league.
7. (79) Cole Hamels < I own him in all leagues.
8. (90) Ricky Nolasco
9. (103) Hunter Pence
10. (114) Carlos Mármol
11. (127) Alexei Ramírez
12. (138) Miguel Montero < My least favorite, as it turns out I could have waited and gotten Soto three rounds later, but there wasn't really anybody else I wanted here, and it was the last offensive player I was taking before The Great Pitching Run.
13. (151) Kevin Slowey
14. (162) Jonathan Sánchez < A round early, to beat the Giants fan. Also owned in all leagues. Now entering Upside City.
15. (175) David Aardsma
16. (186) Tim Hudson
17. (199) Octavio Dotel
18. (210) Chris Pérez
19. (223) Francisco Liriano < Upside City, downtown
20. (234) Johnny Cueto < Upside City, red light district
21. (247) Justin Masterson < Upside City, warehouse district
22. (258) Ian Kennedy < Thank you for visiting Upside City. Come back soon, K(s)?

Nice job. I am really surprised you were able to nab Morneau in the 5th, Granderson in 6th and Pence in the 9th in a 12 teamer. I also really like Nolasco at 90th overall
